Tim Wood MLB: Professional debut June 25, 2009, for the Florida Marlin

Tim Wood is a professional baseball pitcher drafted by the Florida Marlins in the 2002 Major League Baseball Draft out of Pima Community College.  He made his major league debut on June 25, 2009, pitching 2 scoreless innings against the Baltimore Orioles.  On April 7, 2010, Tim recorded his first save in his MLB career.  He pitched the 10th inning to close out a 7-6 victory over the New York Mets. 

Tim Wood played for several MLB teams including the 2010 Washington Nationals, 2011 Pittsburgh Pirates, 2011 Texas Rangers, and the 2012 Minnesota Twins.
