As of 02/09/2008

Updated 07/01/2008 ........

What's new:
11-12 Girls Indoor and 13-14 Girls Indoor are back and we expect them to be some of the fun and most competitive leagues ever. This league offers girls of all levels a chance to learn volleyball in a fun and instructional way.

14 Under Boys we are bringing this league over to the Fall to give the boys a chance to show what they got. The boys get a chance to learn volleyball and learn about teamwork in a fun and exciting environment.

HS Coed Sand is back and offers the older kids a chance to have fun playing volleyball outdoors. The practices and games are held at Jupiter Community Park and give the kids a chance to learn about Sand/ Beach volleyball while enjoying the great Florida Sunshine.

10 Under Coed-The Incredibles we have decided to bring back our training league for our 10 and under. The kids will get a chance to learn about passing, serving, setting and spiking. These sessions will be offered Saturday mornings and will be instructed by JTAA Volleyball coaches as well as members of the local high school varsity teams. This program is scheduled to run 5 weeks and will consist of five 1 Hour training sessions. This will give the kids a chance to sharpen their skills and prepare them for the 10 and under or higher leagues in the Spring.

The age groups are listed below:

Refs:  If you are interested in being a referee for Fall 2007, please contact me.  I will place you on the interest list.  However, please understand that there are more and more kids who want to ref each year.  Those who have refereed in JTAA before will have the first chance to keep the spots.  After that, the space may be filled in by those who are most qualified.

Coaches: Finding a coach for every team is always a struggle.  I applaud loudly each and every coach who volunteers for this challenging and rewarding position.  Please, if you are not involved with other coaching or JTAA committees, consider signing up as coach or assistant coach for your child's team.  Between our coaches clinic, the training video library, our division leaders and our coach leader, you will gain the confidence to lead your team to the finals.  Visit our links page for helpful websites and resources.

Sponsorships:  Spring  2008 Sponsorships are available for only $100.  Thank you to all of our 2007 Sponsors!  Please visit the sponsor website and support those who support your kids.

Maps to Facilities: click here

Facilities: The main facilities will be Jupiter Community Center, West Jupiter Community Center, Jupiter Community Park and local middle school gyms.  JTAA and Recreational Volleyball are fortunate to be able to use the county, town and local school facilities.  Help us show our appreciation by minimizing litter.  Please pick up any trash on your way out of the gym.  A messy gym is no fun to clean up.  Thanks in advance.

Division Chairpersons: (please contact these volunteers before contacting the director -  e-mail is always preferred, unless it is urgent)

Committee Chairs: (all volunteers, please take the time to thank them for all they do!)
