Training
There are 3 weekly playing opportunities for the players. At the beginning of the season there are two practices during the week with a game on Saturday. Mid –season there is one practice during the week and two weekly games. This level provides basic skills training for players and coaches. We utilize our internal experience and expertise along with several sessions provided by professional trainers. |
OUR MISSION
We want to introduce players and parents to the wonderful sport of soccer, the most popular sport in the world. Soccer is gaining momentum in the United States, thanks to more and more children having the opportunity to learn and play it, along with the success of the men’s and women’s national teams in World Cup play. We also want our players to learn the importance of teamwork and good sportsmanship. Our philosophy as a recreational league is we exist to teach the game of soccer to players of all skill levels while providing those players and parents with a fun, rewarding experience. Therefore, these are the goals that will guide all our actions:
To have fun , to learn the game , and to exhibit good sportsmanship.

Season Dates:
December 1 through FYSA Tournament/Mid March. Training will end February 28. Registration opens November 1. |
Overview:
All- Star Soccer will provide an opportunity for players to continue enjoying soccer by providing an extension of the regular soccer season. This will be done through a format wherein each player will be evaluated and placed with a volunteer coach.
These players will have the opportunity to improve their skills through practice and training sessions as well as competitive games. The program will allow the players to feel recognized, develop pride and build self-respect. The program focuses on developing player’s skills and techniques in an environment that’s fun while learning and promoting the values of teamwork and good sportsmanship.
Evaluation Process:
The All-Star program will be available to all players which participated in the recreational league regular season. Evaluations will be held the last week of the regular season for all age groups. Every player will be accepted to the program. Players will be placed on teams within their age group based on skill level. |
Training:
Training will be provided twice weekly. One session will be with FYSA certified coach. One session will be with our professional trainers. The teams may have additional training sessions as voted on by the team parents. We focus our teaching toward advanced skills, player conditioning, and high level game strategy.
Cost:
The base fee for each player will be set in June, but is estimated to be around $300. This covers the JTAA fees, Florida Youth Soccer Association (FYSA) fee, training expenses, league fees, referee fees, tournament fees, etc. However the cost can increase if a team chooses to use the trainers for additional practices, or the trainers attend the games hours. The base fee is not enough to cover all of the team's expenses, so additional fundraising is required throughout the year, i.e. concession stand sales, tournament revenue, etc. Partial scholarships are available for families if needed. Uniforms and gear are not included. |
Overview:
Competitive soccer is just what the name implies; players must compete for a spot on a team. There are boys and girls teams, with teams serving ages 7 or 8 through 18. We have available roster space on every team. Players must try-out for a space on a Sting Team, where Rec is open to anyone who signs up. Players will be chosen on fitness level, technical soccer skills, ability to learn, and attitude. The level of play is more competitive; the pace of the games will be faster.
In addition, competitive soccer tends to run much longer, with some teams playing 9-10 months out of the year. We recommend at least one season of the All-Star program for anyone interested in the competitive program.
Our younger teams traditionally play in the Treasure Coast League, traveling south to Wellington, north to Stuart, Hobe Sound and Port St. Lucie. The older teams play in the South Florida Youth Soccer Association (boys) and FLUGSA (girls). Those leagues include teams from Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach Counties in the south to Martin, and St. Lucie Counties in the north. But only 50% of the games will be AWAY, 50% will be HOME at Jupiter Community Park. The teams may also compete if tournaments through the Southeast U.S.
Season Dates:
August - May
Tryouts are held in May/June. |
